Detroit Movie Madness – 1976 Part One – Skin, Sin, and Sleaze

3-11-76

3-11-76 – I wonder if some took the title of the main feature as an expose on the Telegraph Rd. Strip north of the Ohio Line!

Tonight I’m starting to go through my older archives from Detroit during what I consider the last great decade of Exploitation, 1976-86. So much to see, and many screens to go to. This post focuses on the Sleaze that passed by the D in 1976, with a lot of re-ran films, triple plays, Drive in open in the Winter and films that might send you to Hell today…wait, we already know we’re down that way! Over at  the AV Maniacs forums, I posted a lot of titles  from my research under the name of Detroit Movie Madness – this series is in tribute to that series and to the all the wild films that played The Detroit area and the screens that had them.
